In 2009: For the first step of implementation we gathered all the information on the operation and elimination of waste dump and sewage pond. We also collected those persons and the names of institute managers who could give more information about the opportunities of recultivation. Beside them we found some studies which can give the fundamental principles of our further study.

In 2010: The contract has been signed by the selected company and the elaboration of the studies should be ready by 1st of May, 2011. Meanwhile the local government of Balmazújváros has recultivated some parts of the sewage ponds. The HEA was advising on the field works so as the recultivated terrain could resemble a soda lakebed. Flat breeding islands for shorebirds were formed in the recultivated area from soda soil.

In 2011: We were continuously coordinating with the contractor about the various chapters of the both feasibility studies. The actual deadline for the delivery of the two studies is the end of January 2012.

In 2012: The intended target of the action has been 100% achieved in 2012 as both feasibility studies were completed in 50-50 copies (02/12/2012) and has been distributed to the relevant authorities and persons.

2013: The action has already been 100% achieved in 2012 and supplementary provision wasn’t necessary.
