Increased presence of ranger services on the project site

The aim of the action is the protection of sodic lakes’ unique wildlife to a greater extent and eliminating disturbance.

In 2009: Thanks for the greater extent of ranger services on the project site, almost all the illegal fishing were eliminated which meant the most disturbing problem in the past. The number of actions and the intensity of them are introduced in the table below.

In 2010: The increased presence of ranger service continued and as a result of the action the illegal fishing and unexpected visitors to the project site ceased entirely. The number of actions and the intensity of them are introduced in the table below.

In 2011: The increased presence of ranger service from the beginning of the project has had great results. After the first 34 month of the project duration the illegal fishing and unexpected visitors to the project site ceased entirely.

In 2012: The intended target of the action has been 100% achieved as the human disturbance was entirely eliminated from the project site (mainly illegal fishing activity). The enhanced patrol service continued throughout 2012.

 

2013: The plans and the intended target of the action has been 100% achieved, which are summarized in the table below.
